About me
Why am I walking the Camino? My inspiration first came from the man, the myth, the legend, my dad, Ennodio. In 2018, he completed the Camino Frances and walked over 500 miles. After he completed his Camino, it inspired me to one day, walk one of my own.
A 2019 break-up led to some soul searching and renewed my love of the outdoors and hiking. I healed myself through walking, and when Covid hit, my introverted self thrived with the freedom I had to be alone of trails and challenge myself. I completed 3 14ers in 2020 and looked for the next adventure. In May 2021, my dad, sister Elena and I completed the Salkantay trek in Peru. 5 days of hiking from Cusco to Machu Picchu. And the trekking bug was activated!
I walk this Camino in honor of my family. Special shoutouts shoutouts to my dad who inspired it all and is helping sponsor this walk with me. To my mom, who keeps this crazy family train going and allows me to pursue my dreams. To my twin sister Elena, thank you for watching my fur nugget Ruby so that I can walk with the comfort that my dog having the best time at her Aunties house.
Buen Camino!
